it's humbling to be somewhere you so deeply love, and feel such sheer exhaustion. i have the desire to run all over, do yoga, swim the bay, just be fully and energetically present, but i have to back off sometimes. that patience is humbling, for sure. i was supposed to go to the island of ometepe on sunday, but there are not enough students, so i will be going there my final week of spanish school, the following week. i am so sad that my time here is ending, it's such a friendly and beautiful and vivid place, but i know it is always in my heart, this nicaragua.
